About
EstimateKit is software for small and medium home service shops in the US and Canada, built by Travis Paivarinta in Abbotsford, BC.
It does what the software the big companies use does: good-better-best quotes, signed on the customer's phone, priced from your own price book. It's built for the shops those tools were never priced for.
Why I built it
I grew up in small business, and most of my friends work in the trades. I watched good shops lose evenings to quotes on paper and in spreadsheets, and lose jobs to whoever got a price to the customer first.
The software that fixes that exists, but it's built and priced for big companies, with per-user fees, long contracts and weeks of setup. I wanted small shops to have the same features as the big names, without the price.

Who it's for
Owners and crews at small and medium home service shops, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and trades like them, doing residential replacements, repairs and maintenance. Usually the owner still writes the quotes, at the kitchen table or in the truck, and has outgrown paper and spreadsheets but doesn't want to pay per technician or sign a contract to fix it.
What you get
Good, better and best quotes
Up to four options on one quote, built from your saved templates. The customer compares them and picks one.
Signed on their phone
Customers open the quote from a link, choose an option and sign. Deposits and invoices can be paid by card from the same link.
Your prices, your markups
A priced price book to start from for HVAC, plumbing or electrical, with your markups applied and flat-rate repairs priced from your hourly rate.
Follow-ups that happen on their own
An alert when a customer opens your quote, and follow-up emails if they go quiet.
The office side too
Jobs, invoices, maintenance agreements and each customer's equipment, with QuickBooks Online sync.
Works where you work
Send quotes by email or text, build them with no signal in an attic or crawlspace, or draft them by asking Claude.
