ServiceTitan vs EstimateKit in three numbers before the details.
ServiceTitan is the big system in the trades, and for a 20-truck operation with dispatchers and an office manager it earns its price. Its own numbers show who it's built for: $961.0 million in revenue from about 10,800 active customers in the year to January 31, 2026, or about $89,000 per customer per year on average (ServiceTitan's fiscal 2026 results, March 12, 2026).
It prices per technician and publishes no number. The pricing page lists three plans, Starter, Essentials and The Works, and every one says Request Pricing (servicetitan.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-17). Third-party estimates put it at $245 to $500 per technician per month; 12-month contracts are typical, and implementation is reported at $5,000 to $50,000 or more. For a crew of three, that's $735 to $1,500 a month before setup.
Most shops are not that company. If you run one to ten trucks, the day is: look at the job, quote it, get the yes, do the work, get paid, and come back for the next visit. A call center and campaign tracking don't help with any of that.

When ServiceTitan is genuinely the right call.
ServiceTitan is the right call for some companies. If you have 20 or more trucks out every day and a dispatcher routing them, you'll use its routing and fleet tools. If you spend real money on advertising, its call tracking tells you which ads make the phone ring. If you have office staff whose job is to run the system, the setup and learning curve stop being a problem, and its reporting, marketing tools, inventory and financing are real.
The question is whether you have that team and that volume. For a shop of one to 25 people that mainly needs to quote, win, schedule, invoice and keep maintenance customers, you'd be paying for a lot you don't open.
ServiceTitan pros and cons. What's good, what isn't.
Why shops switch. Every one of these is on the $49 plan.
Every quote carries good, better and best options from your own price book. Send it by email or text it from your phone; they choose, sign on their phone, and you get a notification.
$49 a month covers up to 25 people, with owner, office and technician roles. Hiring your next tech doesn't change the bill.
Approval creates the job with the chosen option, a deposit invoice if you take one, and the final invoice when the job is done. Payments and balances stay on the same record.
Maintenance plans lay out the visits for the year, remind the customer when a tune-up is due and before renewal. Equipment records keep model, serial, age and a photo of the data plate.
Techs build and edit quotes with no signal; it syncs when they're back in the truck. Nothing gets overwritten without asking.
Send your supplier price sheet during the trial and we'll load your price book and build the first real quote with you. Free, on the same $49 plan.
EstimateKit takes a home service shop from the quote the customer signs to the invoice they pay, with maintenance plans and equipment records, for $49 a month for up to 25 people.
Where EstimateKit comes up short. Better you hear it from us.
Quotes and invoices can be texted from your own phone in one tap, and reminders go by email. We don't run two-way texting or automated text messages.
It runs in the browser on any phone, installs to the home screen, and works with no signal. The store apps are built and in review.
There's a dispatch board with a map and a crew calendar with a tech on every job. Live truck tracking, route optimization and call tracking aren't built.
Customers pay by card from the invoice link, and you can keep a card on file. Tap-to-pay on a phone and financing offers on a quote aren't built.
Customers, invoices and payments copy into QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks Desktop and changes made in QuickBooks aren't synced back, and US automatic sales tax is coming soon.
Past 25 people on one account, this isn't the tool for you.
ServiceTitan vs EstimateKit cost: a year of each. Same crew, same work.

When your contract allows. ServiceTitan doesn't publish its terms; by contractor reports, contracts are typically 12 months and renew on their own. Find the renewal date and notice period in your order form and give notice in writing before it. EstimateKit is month to month, so you can start before your term ends.
